The Da Vinci Code
About This Novel
At midnight, the elderly director of the Louvre Museum was murdered. At the last moment of his life, the curator took off his clothes, clearly arranged his body in the shape of Leonardo da Vinci's famous painting "Vitruvian Man", lay down on the parquet floor of the art gallery, and left an elusive password next to the body. Semiotics expert Robert Langdon and codebreaking genius Sophie Neveu set out to sort out a large number of strange codes. They discovered that a series of clues were hidden in Leonardo da Vinci's works of art! Langdon suddenly realized that the curator was actually a member of the Priory of Sion - a secret organization founded in 1099. Its members include many great figures in Western history, such as Newton, Botticelli, Victor Hugo and Leonardo da Vinci! Langdon suspected that they were looking for a groundbreaking historical secret, one that was both enlightening and dangerous...

Okay, okay, okay, it's really beautiful, are you still not satisfied?
I also had romance in Paris
I was just 20 years old when I first read this book. Reliving it again, I am still moved. When I was 24 years old, I went to the Louvre for the first time. At that time, I had forgotten the end of the story. I simply thought that the building at the exhibition exit was so beautiful. It shimmered like a dream and I stared at it for a long time. I am 27 years old this year and reread this story. According to the description at the end, I smoothly drew a sketch in my mind, and asked myself in a flash: I must have seen this scene before! Even took photos! I lost my phone once in three years, so I didn't have time to back up many of my memories. Finally, I found this one in a locked circle of friends. The day I posted the photo was my 24th birthday🎂Now that I think about it, that day was still somewhat romantic.
Really a great mystery novel.
It's hard to imagine how many books you have to read and how much experience you have to create such a twists and turns, fascinating and colorful work.

Okay, it looks great. Really great for a mystery reader!
Great
The curator of the Louvre was murdered, and the code next to the body was found. Robert Langdon once again embarked on the road to deciphering the secrets, and a series of conspiracies and dangers followed.
Very interesting, good story!
After reading it intermittently, the big boss appeared at the end, which was unexpected and the ending was bland~
The storyline has ups and downs and is rich in content.
Saunière's goal of returning the Holy Grail to his hometown was great and thoughtful. What kind of faith did he have and how much perseverance did he have to accomplish it?
Because of this book, I bought several other books by the author, all of which were closely related. When I read them a few years ago, I looked up the paintings, place names, and buildings on the Internet while reading. I watched the movie twice, and I'm going to watch it again. It's fascinating.
Strongly recommend
The plot has ups and downs, the viewpoint is very novel, and the interpretation of European religious history and related historical events is refreshing. Very recommended.
