Deep Blue Farewell
About This Novel
During World War II, U. S. Air Force officer David Barry was sent to fight in Burma. Together with his comrades, he took advantage of the chaotic situation during the war to smuggle gold, bonds and other scarce goods to make huge profits. After the war, he cleverly brought his belongings back to the United States. Unexpectedly, he got involved in a fight as soon as he landed and died in prison after serving eight years. Before going to prison, Barry had hidden the mysterious treasure and refused to tell anyone. After his cellmate Little Allen was released from prison, he came to Barry's house, hooked up with his daughter Kathy, and gradually explored and found the whereabouts of the treasure, swept it away and disappeared without a trace. Casey, whose family was in ruins and had no one to rely on, found Travis McGee, an unlicensed ranger detective who was hanging out at the beach, and asked him to help him recover the stolen goods. What McGee has to face is an unknown treasure, a clueless tracking, and a cunning, cruel and evil opponent.

The male protagonist's occupation is similar to debt collection. During this period, he met two women - two women who were deeply hurt by the debt collectors. After a fight, the bad guys got the punishment they deserved, but the ending still had a touch of sadness. I really wanted the male protagonist to be with Atkinson, but they didn't. Atkinson is dead... Are foreigners very open-minded? I can understand the emptiness, sadness, and sadness that the male protagonist feels after losing his lover, but I don't understand that he can sleep with other women in a short period of time.
I haven't read it yet. Look at the title of the book. It should be good.
Yes, it reveals the goodness and ugliness of human nature, which is profound and thought-provoking.
Good book, read more.
Well translated
It's such a pity that I can only watch the first chapter for free.

All the best things are unspeakable. Just like Marco Polo and Genghis Khan when talking about countries in the world, they did not mention their hometown because they were afraid that if they said it, they would not belong to themselves. Because I am afraid that others will disturb the tranquility there. All good things cannot be said.
I was attracted by the title of the book and haven't started reading yet.
Good. . .
