About This Novel
Keigo Higashino wrote a mystery novel specifically for elementary school students. Reading mystery novels is the best way to train young people to think carefully. I am an elementary school substitute teacher. The school didn't take me seriously, and the students knew that I wouldn't last long. I don't like being a teacher, my ideal is to become a mystery novelist. I don't expect students to like me, and I don't want to talk about big ideas, but I will never be vague about teaching seriously. I can't help it, I'm just such an upright person. Strangely enough, every time there were students who were reluctant to let me leave, saying that I was a good teacher, and some would cry. This time I came to the second class of fifth grade at Ichimonji Elementary School. Unexpectedly, something big happened the next day! So I solved the case along the way, and leaving with doubts is not my style.

First of all, I highly recommend Cool Substitute Teacher! Secondly! I love Keigo Higashino! He is one of my favorite authors! I have read every one of his books, they are so great! His favorites are Jieyou Grocery Store and White Night Walk. I highly recommend everyone to see them!

Some of Higashino's novels are dignified, some are light-hearted, and some reflect industry professionalism... The styles are very different, and even if the murderer can be guessed, they are still attractive to read. You can rotate the reading tastes.
