About This Novel
In 1937, a fire broke out in a warehouse in New York. The police pulled out two bodies. One of the deceased was Inga Carlson, who became a best-selling author with her debut novel "Everything Comes to an End", and the other was her editor. The latest novel that was to be released the next day in the warehouse was also burned. In 1983, in Brisbane, Australia, Katie Walker visited the first public exhibition of fragments of a printed copy of idol Inga Carlson's novel. An old woman quoted a sentence in a conversation with Katie. Only the first half of this sentence is found in the fragmentary page, but the second half of the sentence spoken by the old woman sounds extremely reasonable and perfect, as if it was written by Inga Carlson. Inga Carlson's novel was destroyed by a fire before it was even released on the market... Will this book, which has been remembered by people for decades, ever see the light of day again?
