The general background settings are basically things from the ancient times, that is, the relationship between Azeroth, the Burning Legion, the Void and the Titans. The chronicle has never been a repairman, but has the same position as the urban management team tearing down and rebuilding. So when you watch Chronicle, forget all the plot and background you knew before.
