About This Novel

In order to objectively record the major events and achievements that Shaanxi has experienced in the process of reform and opening up, scientifically summarize the historical experience of Shaanxi's reform and opening up, and provide reference for the provincial party committee and provincial government's decision-making, starting in 2013, the Party History Research Office of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee organized the party history departments of various cities and counties to jointly carry out the research and compilation of the "Records of Shaanxi's Reform and Opening Up". The research on "Records of Shaanxi's Reform and Opening Up" takes the form of a special topic. Party history departments in various localities mainly determine topics around distinctive major events and major achievements since the reform and opening up. Each topic is based on detailed historical materials, realistically reflects the ins and outs of the subject in question, and makes a scientific analysis of relevant experiences and lessons. The research results of the "Records of Shaanxi Reform and Opening Up" project are released in the form of a series of books. It is planned to publish five books, which will be completed by 2021, the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. What is published this time is the first volume of "Records of Shaanxi Reform and Opening Up".
