About This Novel
Po Toi Island, known as the "Antarctic" of Hong Kong, was recorded on the "Zheng He Navigation Chart" drawn in 1425. In the 1950s and 1960s, the population of Po Toi Island villagers once reached 2,000. Most of the residents made a living by fishing, and also collected and sold products such as seaweed and kelp. However, with the decline of the fishing industry, the original residents have moved to public housing estates in the southern district of Hong Kong Island. Currently, there are less than 20 people left, and most of them are elderly. Putai Island's unique natural scenery and rich cultural resources, including ancient stone carvings dating back more than 3,000 years, rugged rocks, Tin Hau's Birthday, Taiping Jiao...
