This book uses the closed corpus of nearly 20,000 lyrics, about 1.4 Million words, collected in "Complete Song Ci" as corpus, and uses the five basic colors of "yellow, red, green, white, and black" as clues for research. The main content includes: the use of color words alone in sentences, the use of color words to form color-containing words, the reasoning mechanism of color-containing words in metaphors and metonymies, and the semantic and pragmatic usage characteristics of color words themselves. At the end of each chapter, each color category is taken as the main link, and multiple color words representing each color category are sorted out and comparatively analyzed to a certain extent in the form of semantic fields.
