About This Novel
"Waiting" is a self-selected collection by Dai Tao, winner of the 9th Golden Sparrow Award. It contains a total of 92 short stories selected by the author. These short stories basically reflect the entire process of Dai Tao's short novel creation since the mid-1980s. Judging from Dai Tao's experience, he joined a team in the countryside, went to college after college, graduated as a prosecutor, went to work as a boss, and then became a lawyer and arbitrator. These experiences have undoubtedly contributed to the richness and diversity of his creative themes. As some critics have commented, his novels show us all kinds of human beings.
