About This Novel
"Three Words", namely "Words to Tell the World", "Words to Warn the World" and "Words to Awaken the World" are three collections of short stories in vernacular compiled by Feng Menglong, a writer and publisher in the late Ming Dynasty. They focus on portraying four to five hundred characters. Some of them are about chivalrous novels. They accounted for a very small number, but they created a group of chivalrous images with distinctive personalities and rich connotations, including emperor chivalrous heroes who performed chivalry and justice, merchant chivalrous figures who valued justice over profits, and love chivalrous figures who asked what love was in the world. They had a profound impact on later generations of martial arts novels. This book selects 14 short stories about knights from "Three Words". The images of these heroes can be roughly divided into three categories: martial arts heroes, business heroes, and love heroes. In order to facilitate acceptance and dissemination, let's call it martial arts in general.
