Letters from the Nanyang Museum of Antiquities
About This Novel
The heroine Lin Zhaozhao runs the "Nanyang Old Objects Museum" in Kuala Lumpur due to the disappearance of her mother, and accidentally obtains the "Old Object Resonance System" (touching old objects can see the owner's memory). She uses Thai Buddhist amulets to help an old man find his 50-year-old daughter, uses Indonesian batik cloth to help women cleanse their husbands of their grievances for "collaborating with the enemy", and uses Vietnamese military amulets to help veterans find the girl who saved him. In the process, Gu Mingyuan, an international student studying the history of Southeast Asia, was attracted to the old museum. The two worked together to solve the regrets of old things, and gradually fell in love. The villain cultural relic dealer Chen Mo designs to frame the heroine in order to resell cultural relics. The heroine uses the system to extract memory fragments of old objects to expose his crime. In the end, the heroine found the Nyonya family letters that her mother had protected through the Nanyang recipes left by her mother, and learned that her mother left to prevent Chen Mo's father from reselling cultural relics, and the mother and daughter reunited. Gu Mingyuan proposed, and the two built the old museum into a Southeast Asian cultural exchange center.
