This book is divided into four volumes, A, B, C and D, as well as small introductions and appendices, and contains more than 30 pieces of his prose, book reviews, essays, letters, prefaces and postscripts. In the span of nearly thirty years, the author has come into contact with famous modern and contemporary literature scholars such as Shi Zhecun, Bing Xin, Niu Han, Cai Qijiao, Wu Boxiao, Lu Jian, Qian Gurong, Wei Huangnu, etc. Many chapters in this book describe these experiences.
