I Cherish the Traces Left by the Years
About This Novel
For more than sixty years, I have developed the habit of keeping a diary and writing poetry. Poems are kept in diaries. The content of the diary is complicated and the text is lengthy, so there is no need to keep it for a long time, not to mention that it is private and cannot be made public. The poem reproduces the phantom of the future when I was a child, the joy of childhood, the emotional excitement of youth, the pursuit of ideals in youth, the passionate dedication in adulthood, and the calm thinking in old age. It is the essence of my diary, the traces of my life, and a special carrier of my life information. I am determined to organize it into a collection and name it "I cherish the traces of time." This effort started when I retired and has not stopped for more than ten years. Today I revised it again. I can't remember how many times it was.
