Volumes 1 to 12 of this book were published by Shanghai Yuanchang Press, and volumes 13 and 14 were published by Wu Xun Publishing House. The date of publication of volumes 1 to 3 has not been printed. Volume 4 was published in April 1950, and volume 14 was published in May 1951. The book has a total of fifty-eight chapters and 680,000 words.
