Structural engineers (civil engineering majors) make less money than architects. But only structural engineers can serve as executives and bosses of construction contractors, construction companies, and real estate companies. Architects generally don't go. Of course not.
The subject matter of the novel is good, the plot is good, but it is too preachy and ink-text.
