Us under the Sun: Oral Stories from Women with Disabilities
About This Novel
This book is one of the few books in China that records the life stories of women with disabilities. The book involves 20 women with disabilities. They live in different cities, have different ages, have different disabilities, and have different life experiences. Disabled scholars; from entrepreneurs with dreams, to community store managers who live in small towns, to hard-working frontline social workers engaged in disability causes, to happy mothers who return to their families, each story reflects the trajectory of changes in Chinese society and reflects the development and change process of today's Chinese society.
