About This Novel
In Liang Yuchun's short life, he indeed had all the qualities of a successful translator. At the age of 18, he entered the English Department of Peking University and became a disciple of famous English teachers such as Ye Gongchao. He dabbled extensively in British and American literature and immersed himself in the colorful world of English literature. Staying in school after graduation also proves his professional excellence from another aspect. His two widely read collections of essays, "Tears and Laughter" and "Spring Brew Collection", are mellow and meaningful, and are known as the Six Dynasties prose of new literature. In the long history of modern Chinese prose, "Tears and Laughter" and "Spring Mash Collection" once shined with their unique styles.
