This book collects statements, documents, letters, telegrams, etc. Issued and received by relevant departments and groups of the National Government and local governments from December 1941 (when the Nationalist Government declared war on Japan) to February 1947 regarding the reception and administration of Taiwan. It is divided into three parts: establishment of stance on Taiwan and external negotiations, opinions on governing Taiwan and preparation for acceptance, implementation of acceptance, and legal arrangement. Each part is arranged in chronological order. Those with only a year but no specific date will be placed at the end of the historical data for that year. In order to be loyal to historical data, the original terms are generally not changed. The publication of the manuscript will help readers understand the historical process of Taiwan's recovery.
