"Research on the History of the Ancient Mausoleum System in China" is a compilation of Mr. Yang Kuan's research on the history of the ancient mausoleum system. It is divided into three parts: the upper, middle and lower parts. The first part discusses the origin of the mausoleums during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period and the changes in the mausoleum system from the mid-Warring States Period to the Tang, Song, Ming and Qing Dynasties; the middle part discusses several topics about the ancient mausoleum system; the second part "Research on the Layout of Ancient Mausoleums and Cemetery" focuses on the layout and structure of the Qin Shihuang Mausoleum and the Qin and Han Mausoleums, which are the results of field investigations.
