About This Novel
This book is a themed novel collection of the "Pingle Town Trilogy" that Yan Ge is writing. It includes five short stories and short stories about the lives of girls and women at different stages of life. "The White Horse", written after "The May Queen", is a secret love affair between adults narrated by a crazy girl, and foreshadows the appearance of the untrustworthy narrator in "Our House". In "The Demon Mirror", a group of girls experience a terrible sexual initiation together. An old woman whose love finally ended in the shadow of death ("Trinity Tea Party"). In the dramatic changes of the times, the most beautiful women in the town are treated as commodities and sold by the villagers ("Tang Baozhen in Jiangxi Lane"). There is also "Math Olympiad Class 1995", in which the author took a photo of a mother with twin daughters who was tired, nervous, selfless, and lost. This short story will be connected with the novel that the author is writing.
