Fragments of Chinese History (1840~1949)
About This Novel
The author immersed himself in old papers and rummaged through old newspapers. From old newspapers and magazines such as Time, New York Times, and The Times from the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, he found pieces of unique fragments of Chinese history. He translated these historical fragments from foreign media authentically, and pieced together a historical picture in a "diorama". From the perspective of foreign media, China at that time was so novel, so inexplicable, and so weird.

Not bad, come on↖(^ω^)↗
.....
A report on modern history that is closer to the truth. Thanks to the author for his careful collection.
Hard work pays off!
The narration of some historical details is interesting, but the things related to the main historical context are really disappointing. It is objectively out of reach, but more subjective likes and dislikes and the result of entangled interests. Modern Chinese history is complicated and obscure, and there are many unspeakable things in it. Those who are not familiar with history should read this book with caution.
