About This Novel

"Sui Shu Jing Ji Zhi" consists of four volumes. It is the second official historical Jing Ji Ji after "Han Shu Jing Ji Zhi". It is a summary of the academic history of nearly six hundred years from the Eastern Han Dynasty to the Sui Dynasty. During this period, the study of bibliography has made great progress, especially the separation of historical books from Jing Ji Ji, basically forming a four-part bibliography. Therefore, later generations of scholars also paid special attention to this "Sui Chronicles". Since the Qing Dynasty, some scholars have done a lot of supplementary textual research on "Sui Shu Jing Ji Zhi". Among them, Zhang Zongyuan's "Sui Jing Ji Zhi Textual Research" is one of the most famous works. Wang Songwei was a scholar from Suzhou in the late Qing Dynasty, and his review of "A Textual Research on Sui Jing Ji Zhi" added a lot to this book. Therefore, this book also makes some analysis of Wang Songwei's revised edition. The whole book is divided into three parts: inner chapter, outer chapter and supplementary chapter, which examines and analyzes the above issues.
