About This Novel

"Journal of Historical Theory and Historiography" is a continuous disciplinary publication sponsored by the Research Center for Historical Theory and Historiography of Beijing Normal University. This volume is a study of modern Chinese historiography. Gu Jiegang, Zhou Yutong, Hou Wailu, Zhang Yinlin, Cai Shangsi, and Wang Shumin are all important historians. They are either famous for their ability to identify falsehoods or textual research, or they are good at studying the history of Confucian classics and the history of thought. The relevant papers published in this volume deepen the study of these historians. Articles on foreign history research all use basic historical materials and reference documents in multiple languages, which reflects that China's foreign history researchers have made great progress in mastering language tools.
