"A Historical Study of the Sino-Korean Sectarian-vassal Relations and the Sino-Korean Boundaries in Ancient Times" mainly focuses on the sectarian-vassal relations and historical boundary issues between the Central Plains and North Korean regimes in the historical period. The whole book is divided into two parts. The author comprehensively combs the historical changes in the relations and boundaries between China and North Korea from the Qin and Han Dynasties to the Qing Dynasty, and believes that since the Qin and Han Dynasties, the relationship between the Chinese and North Korean regimes has basically been a suzerainty-vassal relationship with the Central Plains regime as the suzerainty. The regimes on the Korean Peninsula have always been in a vassal status during the historical period including the Three Kingdoms, Goryeo and Li Dynasties. The previous article summarized the establishment and continuous evolution of this suzerain-vassal relationship by dynasty. The next article focuses on the border issue between China and North Korea from the Qin to the Qing Dynasty, and uses documentary records as the main basis to sort out in detail the changing and shifting state of the border between the ancient regimes of China and North Korea.
