About This Novel
This book mainly focuses on maps collected in ancient books that have been neglected for a long time, and combines them with picture books, journals and stone-engraved maps published by various libraries. It contains more than 500 types of maps before the Qing Dynasty. The book first gives a brief introduction to the ancient books that contain maps. Then, based on this, through comparative analysis, the maps with origin relationships are classified and listed according to genealogy, and the relationships and important differences between the maps belonging to each genealogy are briefly explained. The last part uses maps as the main material to discuss some issues that have been ignored or misunderstood in the study of ancient maps.
