"Lin'an Guests" is a collection of historical figures created by the young writer Jing Buhang. It is a companion book to "Bianjing Guests". It takes Lin'an, the capital of the Southern Song Dynasty, as the starting point. It tells the story of the great artist Song Huizong, the eternal talented woman Li Qingzhao, the Song Dynasty war god Yue Fei, the great Zhongxing poet Lu You, and the bold poet Zong Xin. The life stories of seven major figures in the Southern Song Dynasty: Qi Ji, the northern literary hero Yuan Haowen, and the loyal poet Wen Tianxiang. It focuses specifically on the Southern Song Dynasty's literati and military generals who felt powerless when their country's territory was encroached and swallowed up by the powerful northern tribes after the Jingkang Incident.
