The second volume starts with the formation of world powers and the development of colonial undertakings, and systematically explains how European powers dominated the process of modern world history. The book advocates Chinese culture as the standard. On the basis of referring to the achievements of Western history, and based on the activities and contributions of Asian countries, including China, in world cultural history, it is narrated at appropriate positions. It is intended to use "A Brief History of the World" to explain: Asian culture has greatly promoted the progress of Europe. The prosperity of Europe and the decline of Asia only occurred after Europe carried out world colonization in modern times. Asian nations should view history correctly. This new view of history breaks the long-standing Eurocentric view of history, changes the world history expanded from the European center to a world history composed of Eurasian interaction, and adjusts the new historical perspective.
