About This Novel

This article is based on the world view created by Mike Pondsmith in "Cyberpunk 2077". The story tells that in 2065, the "Confucian" economic circle in the East has realized a communist society where everyone is equal. Although the West calls it a "false utopia", everyone knows that it is the last piece of pure land and the biggest threat to them. For this reason, the Arasaka Group and Military Technology teamed up with other forces and internal agents to conduct a "cyber cleansing" here. They bypassed the firewall and attacked everyone's nervous system. This resulted in the former "pure land" being in ruins, cyberpsychosis everywhere, and the Confucian economic circle declining instantly. Subsequently, these large consortiums built Xinru City on the ruins, further expanding the cyberpunk world in the east. Outside the city are the ruins of decline and a lawless land. But what the attackers didn't expect was that a small tribe here called "Tao" insisted on not using prosthetics and implants, which allowed them to escape the purge. But the disaster that followed also left the tribe to survive in the ruins. Our protagonist "Bai" is a descendant of the Tao tribe. He was born in the last glorious moment of the Confucian economic circle. He grew up in the chaotic ruins outside the city. He avoided cyberpsychosis every day, and his parents were killed by black market thugs. Finally, he decided to leave the tribe and enter Xinru City. Can he finally go to Night City to fight against the most evil forces in the world and avenge his tribe and former country? It all depends on his choice.
