About This Novel

This is a story about youth growth. The "I" in the story is an ordinary, sensitive, unconfident but ideal high school boy. When the regular life was broken one after another: the bitterness of secret love, emotional confusion, family changes, he was once unable to recover from adversity. Facing the low point in life, they gave me the courage to persevere despite my low self-esteem and cowardice... "The Sea" is my first work. It started in 2007 and continued intermittently until it was completed in 2017. In ten years, it has carried so much of my life experience. Due to busy work and habitual procrastination, I didn't have the courage to share it with my friends until 2020. This is a work that pays tribute to writers such as August Chang'an, Guo Jingming, and Rao Xueman whom I read in middle school. It does not follow the trend to cater to the current market, reader tastes and popular IPs. All I want to do is simply tell my story, that's it.
