"The Baker Who Stole Bread" tells the story of a baker who works in a bakery and tries to steal a cake from the store several times in order to celebrate the birthday of an old man and satisfy his family's wish to eat "pastry". He struggled internally and finally stole it, but unfortunately he was discovered by the supervisor and lost his job. "Night" uses a first-person perspective to describe the experience of a drifting sailor in Shanghai at night.
