This book is a compilation of revolutionary stories from Jiangyan District, Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is divided into four parts: "Red Beacon", "Red Heroes", "Red Heritage" and "Red Literature Garden". It records the stories of the working people launching armed struggles and establishing the Soviet regime in Jiangyan, a hot land. Among them are the major events and important battles that occurred in Jiangyan District during the Anti-Japanese War and the War of Liberation, as well as the heroic sacrifices of Jiangyan District heroes for the establishment and development of New China. It also includes songs that were popular in Jiangyan District during the Revolutionary War, as well as calligraphy works about Jiangyan created by some revolutionary seniors, and also records the construction of the revolutionary martyrs monument and patriotic base in Jiangyan District.
