The group portraits of women are really well written.
It's not the routine of "women tearing each other apart", but the support and sympathy between women. The relationships between the heroine and her sister, her allies, and her maids are all warm and real. The writing method does not rely on female competition to promote the plot, which makes it very comfortable to read. The logic of the plot line is also worthy of praise. Many Machiavellian novels are about "the protagonist outsmarting everyone", but here it is a game of back and forth. The opponent is not stupid, and the protagonist does not rely solely on luck. Every step is foreshadowed and has cause and effect. Only by respecting the reader's intelligence and tactics can it be interesting to read. Another thing I like is that this book is not preachy. Many authors like to express their opinions through the mouths of characters, but this book prefers to let readers experience it themselves. It does not tell "what is right", but only presents the choices and costs of different characters. Restraint makes the theme more powerful.
Well written ~
It's quite nice ~ I hope the author will update it soon ~
It's beautiful, why doesn't anyone see it?
When is it usually updated? I've been looking for books to read due to the recent book shortage. I just saw this book and I think it's pretty good. I'll continue to read it.
Get a sofa 😁
I only read it when I saw that the heroine's last name was the same as mine. But it's well written 😊
This is one of the most surprising Machiavellian writings I have ever read.
The author's writing is so stable, and every plot twist is fully foreshadowed. It is not the kind of writing that relies on coincidences and cleverness to advance the plot. You can feel the author's respect for the readers - respect for the readers' intelligence and respect for the readers' emotions. What I admire most is the author's skill in writing characters. There are no pure tool people here. Each character has his own origin, his own obsession, and his own tragedy. Villains are not stereotyped villains. You will hate them, but you also understand why they become like this. The protagonists are not perfect. They will be fragile, make mistakes, be jealous, and be suspicious. It is these imperfections that make them like real people. This kind of respect for the complexity of characters is really rare in online literature. The emotional line is particularly well written. It's not the kind of industrial saccharine that makes you fall in love at first sight, but slowly builds the foundation and heats up, allowing you to be drawn in and moved without even realizing it. When it's sweet, it makes you smile; when it's sad, it makes your heart tighten. This feeling has weight and will remain in my heart after reading it. The author's foreshadowing design is also surprising. Many seemingly casual details, only to find out later that clues have been buried. This kind of "gray line" writing style turns reading into a puzzle, and you can't help but turn forward to find those overlooked clues. This sense of participation is difficult to give in fast food online articles. This is a work that requires patience. Thanks to the author for his hard work. In this fast-paced era, not many people are willing to write stories seriously.
It's great. I read it overnight. I hope the author will update it soon. Looking forward to it.
The plot advancement does not rely on coincidence or cleverness, and you can feel the author's intentions.
The character creation is particularly excellent. Both the protagonist and the supporting characters have their own origins and obsessions, and the villain is not a stereotyped villain. The emotional lines are written delicately and sincerely, not industrial saccharine, but slowly foreshadowing and warming up naturally, so sweet that it makes you smile knowingly, and makes your heart tighten with pain. The foreshadowing is also designed with great care, and many seemingly casual details only reveal clues that have already been buried after reading about them later. In this fast-paced era, not many people are willing to write stories seriously. Thanks to the author for his hard work.
The rhythm is really steady
In this era where "three golden chapters determine life and death", this book is destined not to become a hit in traffic But it's definitely a work worth remembering There are in-depth character creations, sincere emotional descriptions, grand narrative structures and profound ideological questioning. The goodness of this book is not the kind of goodness that can be seen at a glance, but the goodness that requires time and emotion to be gradually perceived. Instead of using "shuang", I use "aftertaste", which is a wonderful feeling.
