This book is a collection of the author's teaching and thinking on cross-cultural and interdisciplinary literary research in the more than ten years since he published "Comparative Literature and Modern Chinese Literature" in 1987. It includes three parts: the tradition of "facing the new era of cross-culture and interdisciplinary" and "reinterpreting contemporary literature and culture in modern interpretation".
