About This Novel
"Shan Hai Yuan Shen Lu" mainly tells the story of the protagonist Wu Ming's battles among the Duwei, Diji, Dai Lai and other ethnic groups since his birth. The background elements of the story are mainly taken from the "Book of Mountains and Seas" and some allusions and legends from the pre-Qin Dynasty to the late Han Dynasty, mixed with some military affairs, history, love between men and women, benevolence, science, engineering, and Taoism. However, although the author strives to perfect the plot, his talent is limited and there are bound to be many omissions. I hope readers will be tolerant and do not necessarily take the novelist's word for it.
