This book is a fascinating novel by Verne, with a lively style and a sense of humor. The novel tells the story of Mr. Fogg, an Englishman who overcame many difficulties to complete a circumnavigation of the world in 80 days because of a bet with his friends. The book not only describes in detail the various bizarre experiences of Mr. Fogg and his party on the way and the numerous difficulties and dangers they encountered, but also gradually makes the characters' personalities three-dimensional, such as the taciturn, witty, brave and humane Fogg, the lively and impulsive servant "Passepartout" and so on.
