There has never been a good day in the twelfth lunar month near the end of the year. The white sun hanging in the winter sky lazily cast its not-so-splendid light on Hanyuan Village, even though God passed by in a flourishing way two days before the auspicious day of Youjiu. There was a heavy snowfall, but the Hanyuan Village was on a high ground and there was no obstruction around it. A black wind blew away two-thirds of the snow on the land at night, filling the ditches and bumps on the plateau. There was only a thin layer of snow left on the plateau, covering the wheat fields and the village in white. It's a pity that the wheat field under the plateau does not belong to Hanyuan Village. All the old people in Hanyuan Village feel that they are at a disadvantage. They stand on the edge of the plateau just like in previous years, looking at the winter wheat on the plateau around them that is not covered by snow, and at the white paper-like fields under the plateau in front of them. The old man sighs and curses God.
