About This Novel

"Psycho" is the most famous collection of short stories by Dragon Lee. It was first published in 1890 and includes four supernatural novels: "Undying Love", "Dionia", "The Oak of Oakheath Manor" and "The Voice of Evil". These novels are set in Italy at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. They adopt the form of first-person epistles and create a series of characters such as a young historian who becomes obsessed with studying aristocratic beautiful women, and a middle-aged husband who goes crazy with jealousy and accidentally kills his wife. They create a terrifying atmosphere while showing the subtleties of the human heart. Fulong Li once commented on these works of his: "You may say that the ghosts in my stories are fake, but the only thing I can confirm is that they have made some people uneasy, and they still do so to this day, including myself."
