This book is a selected collection of Liang Yusheng's joint dialogues. It compiles 902 joint dialogues published in Hong Kong's "Ta Kung Pao" and was personally updated by the author. Liang Yusheng loved couplet literature since he was a child. Although he later engaged in martial arts creation, he believed that "in terms of collecting and researching data on couplets, I probably spent more time and energy than martial arts novels." This book selects famous couplets from ancient and modern times. It not only talks about the "internal science" of couplets, including various types of couplets such as inscription couplets, lyrical couplets, episodic couplets, joking couplets, and elegiac couplets, as well as various types of couplets such as ruthless couplets, embedded word pairs, split word pairs, and palindrome couplets. Liang's Lianhua emphasizes interest, knowledge, and verification, and can be regarded as an encyclopedia of Lianhua style literature and history.
