About This Novel
This work is divided into two parts: the plot of the historical material and the original plot of Langya Bang. The plot of this historical material tells the story of the sharp and complex struggles of multiple political groups in the 68 years between the Liang Wen Seng Ming Rebellion in the Southern Dynasties in 521 AD and the Sui Dynasty's destruction of Chen Dynasty in 589 AD. The characters of this work are selected from historical materials such as "Southern History", "Liang Shu", and "Zizhi Tongjian", so the characters are very different from the original Langya Bang, and the plot is highly Machiavellian, which may seem a bit boring. Lin Shu (502-560), also known as Su, and Dugu Liuguang (505-582) are one of the main characters in this work. Various opportunities enabled the Lin family to turn a corner after the Chiyan case. A hundred years later, they became a prominent family in the Sui and Tang Dynasties.
