About This Novel

This is a tender and healing novel. Harry Fox, a famous composer, lost his sense of music because of the death of his beloved wife. He was unable to compose music and was unwilling to accept other hobbies. His life has been depressed. Until one day, he discovered that his four-year-old, trouble-making grandson turned out to be a piano prodigy. While teaching piano to his grandson, Fox felt music return to his life and found the courage to live again and face the death of his wife. Decades ago, Fox and his brothers returned to Hardgrove House after the war and worked to save the dilapidated ancestral home where they had lived. But one night in 1946, the arrival of the beautiful wartime singer Eddie Rose brought a complicated love triangle to the family, and also led to a devastating betrayal. Behind a man who loves to collect folk songs from all over the world, there are not only those ancient tunes full of passion and nostalgia, but also those tender and sad stories that constrain him to get back together with his family and continue living.
