Knowledge Core
About This Novel
In 2217 AD, Brahma sent down divine fire and destroyed all the unclean countries on the earth. Only the Varna Empire survived. Because of the devout Brahmin prayers, one-third of the empire's population survived. After the divine fire, the Brahmins helped the scattered surviving people in various places rebuild their homes on the scorched earth, and at the same time, they also included the hometowns of these foreign races under the protection of the Varna Empire. These foreigners were both frightened by Brahman's power and anger, and moved by Brahman's fearlessness and compassion. They all fell at the feet of Brahman and converted to Brahmanism. The Brahmins with great supernatural powers understood the cause and effect of these foreigners in their past lives, and incorporated the noblest and pure ones into the Kshatriya caste, followed by the Vaishya caste, and the lowest impure ones into the Sudra caste. Sudras are at the bottom of society and live a life of poverty and hardship. Promotion exams are their only chance to get ahead. Sudra miner Stone Wrench stayed up late at night to study after his heavy work, hoping to pass the promotion exam and change the fate of himself and his family. And those Sudras who have no hope of passing the exam are waiting for a spark in the endless darkness. On the other hand, in order to consolidate their positions, the Brahmins and Kshatriyas in the upper class of society tried to develop a device that can monitor people's thoughts - the consciousness core, to nip all thoughts of violence, questioning and rebellion in the bud. Can the Knowledge Core Project succeed, or will that spark eventually turn into a prairie fire? Which path is the right path to the world of Datong?
